What you mean "a real flame"? Anyway Shin Shin provides one of the best ramen (hakata soup noodle) in Fukuoka city.
Cash only
Normal taste ...
Answer my own question: cash only, and all the menu price is tax included.
Go to Tenjin station by subway and walk from there! I think that it is about 15 minutes to 20 minutes! Yo
There is none Please use the nearby parking It is not delicious but
By far one of the best ramen joints we visited in the city. Prices are very reasonable ~Â¥700 gets you a bowl of noodles. Go early as there will be lineups though the queue moves pretty quickly as people eat and leave. The broth is light but flavourful. Noodles perfectly cooked. Chashu melts in your mouth. A must visit.
Tonkotsu was flavorful and tasted great especially with the added sesame. Love that the noodles are thinner than the usual, so it added a different aspect to ramen. Lemon Sour Shochu was bland and not strong. Gyozas were on point. Wasn’t a fan of the Champon option.
I tried 4 different ramen restaurant, I rate this Shin Shin is the best. Although the soup is relatively salty, the Chashu Pork is very tasty, it got a special smoky smell, the taste is different than the other. The noodle is very general, no surprise.
Best noodle I had in my entire life. I'm a no-soup noodle guy.
Best Ramen I had in Japan. so much flavour in all ingredients. Most of the time there is a line in front of the door, so don't go here if you want to spend all night for the dinner. It's in and out.
Very famous Ramen in FukuokaNeer to tenjin station but you should wait about 30minutes. If you don't want wait then you go there before am 11(the store opens 11:00)Please try No.1 Ramen in Fukuoka
Sooo good better than ippudo and ichiran
Best Ramen I've had in the three years spent in Japan
Wow. Best tonkotsu I've had in my life, and definitively the best ramen I've had after four weeks In Japan. Just an amazing soup base, and the basic ramen is only 650 yen. Come try it.
Really delicious ramen. The hakata ramen soup was flavorful and rich but not greasy. It was somehow rich and light at the same time. The fried noodles were alright, nothing special. You have to come try the ramen though.
When I saw there were so many good reviews of this restaurant, I went there immediately even though I was very full. However, I was feeling a bit disappointed about the ramen. Unlike the 天外天 in Kumamoto, the ramen here is more on clear and light-taste. I am not a big of them but it's considered a tasty ramen restaurant. Went there at 3ish but I still needed to queue
Great hakata style ramen! Char siu had a good fat to meat ratio and has a nice roasted taste. The soup base was not too heavy, we managed to drink most of it. Portions are just right for a meal. This is my second time here and I will come again.
Delicious and affordable. Quick service. Recommend.
A very delicious ramen restaurant, the ramen is perfectly cooked, the soup base is very unique, not salty but bring the flavour or the soup. The ramen noodles sucks in the flavor of the soup base. The egg is halfly cook which the yolk is still in its originally form but the egg white is cooked.
In terms of Ramen, i would say the ramen is good, soup base is good, pork is good. Overall pretty good, but make sure u arrive earlier, normally 30-50 people waiting at the door.Food: 5/5 Price: 5/5Atmosphere: 5/5Comfort: 4/5Service: 5/5
Possibly the best ramen I've had, definitely worth a visit! Usually has a line out the front, but it moves pretty quickly so you won't be waiting too long for the good stuff.
Delicious. Great Hakata ramen for everyone - not too meaty and good portions. English menus available and great service. We waited for about 10 minutes for 2 seats.
Great lunch place in Fukuoka! Ramen, onigiri, and noodles, everything was great! There was a line out the door, which is always a great indication! Staff is nice and service is fast! There is an English menu available and you will definitely not regret coming here. Highly recommend this place for lunch if you are in Fukuoka. We ate there twice in one weekend!
One of the best ramen i ever had..sabaw pa lang parang ulam at kanin na..while i'm on the line of waiting customers, i've notice many customers coming out from here, they were like lost for a moment after eating here.hahahaha..truth to be told. I waited for about 45 minutes and i eat for 30mins. And i would say, its worth the wait..
The most famous “local†ramen spot in Fukuoka city. This original location is a hole-in-the wall in the Tenjin area’s backstreets, and has walls covered in signed cards and posters from Japanese celebrities. Shin Shin’s broth is just slightly lighter than some of my other favorite ramen spots but with no sacrifice in taste, and their noodles are pretty similar to Ichiran’s. They have a few more locations beside Tenjin’s with two conveniently located in Hakata station.
One of the best ramen shop in fukuoka
Fried noddle and Ramen are good
Worth the hype! There is almost always a line but it moves quick. One of the best bowls of ramen I’ve had. I loved the balanced and flavorful broth, the consistency of the noodles, and the egg was perfect. The pork was on the leaner side and the broth is thinner rather than creamy.
Had the tonkotsu ramen with egg and it was superb. The chanpon looked really good too, but we didn’t get to try it. Serving might be a little small for some, but it was okay for us. We went around 9pm and there was a bit of a queue.
Exceptional ramen, one of the must-tries
Busy store with a long queue at the time of my visit. The food is great and the soup is perfect. I recommend to give it a try.
Great food. Awesome service. English menu available! Expect a short queue.
There was a bit of a line outside when we arrived at about 9-ish so we entertained ourselves with watching aspiring jpop stars bust their moves on the floor above. The wait was more than worth it! The broth was creamy and well seasoned, thinly sliced chasyu and soft boiled egg were just perfect! I wish I could say the same for the boxes of Shin Shin instant noodles we brought home. Guess we'll just have to go back to Fukuoka for it!
The tonkotsu ramen is pretty average for me. Maybe the noodles were too thin and don't have a chewy feel to it. I prefer chewy ramen. However, the champon was really good and the taste kinda stuck me for a while.
I got this too from a local, who told me, that it's the best ramen shop in Fukuoka. I wanted to try, because also other people seemed to know this shop. I had big expectations, but I wasn't disappointed. It was one of the best ramen I ever ate.
Excellent service with efficient queue system. I super love their fried rice that was filled with wok hei.
Truthfully I’m not sure what the great reviews are for. There are much better hakata ramen places in Fukuoka though it wasn’t bad, just nothing spectacular. Get the popular hakata ramen. We also tried something recommended by the staff (offal ramen) and it was too rich for my taste.
BEST RAMEN IN MY LIFE!No exaggeration, everyone MUST try. Tonkotsu RAMEN, famous in Fukuoka
This is by far the best ramen I have ever had, much better than Ichiran. The broth, noodle, and everything in it was made for each other. The facility itself is moderate at best but the price and the taste definitely puts this place in the five star realm.
Best ramen I had on the trip. The broth was not too heavy but still flavourful, the noodles were delightfully thin yet it had texture.Shop was small, and being outdoors we had to wait in a line in the cold entertained only by the moving ramen figure outside the shop. Luckily the food was good and worth the wait.
Terrific ramen, full of flavour and a cold beer and gyoza to go with it! Highly recommended for an authentic Japanese ramen experience
Really good! Staff was friendly and the food came promptly. Definitely worth the trip.
The soup base is nicce but i think its a bit delicate to me
The hype is real. The ramen is good. Rich yet light. Best gyoza I’ve ever had. English menu. Do yourself a favour
Regular size is a small portion but great flavor, friendly staff, and a (limited) English menu. Larger sizes available at additional cost. Price was fair, ¥750 for the regular tonkotsu ramen with an egg. We requested no pork slice on top, but the broth is not vegetarian. My favorite part was the hot sauce & garlic toppings available at the table. A great place to experience authentic Fukuoka ramen!
many japanese and tourist say this is the best ramen in fukuoka. but i think a little bit bland. t.t
Ramen tasted good. Prefer to taste the rice with roasted pork, very delicious.
Very good value for money, quick service and tasty Ramen. We found space for our group of colleagues and had a fun time.
Taking a star off because my noodle wasn’t hard! It was kinda soft.... but mine was the only one. The noodles that my family had were apparently exceptionally good. Rly enjoyed the fried rice too, and the onigiri :)
The soup is so delicious. It's a bit much for a first meal but it was definitely worth the wait. The noodles have a bit of the alkaline smell but it's faint and they still taste really yummy. If you're around the area I would definitely recommend this store.
Excellent broth, chashu was too sweet, ajitama just right.
We ate diner here tonight . It was very good food, fast and tasty. We were very happy. The staff was very nice.
Spent two weeks in Japan - this ramen was the best. Delicious and cheaper than most!
